Welcome Summer Yarns!

If you have spotted a beautiful lightweight summer knitting project, but you don't want to use 100% wool, we have you covered.
Find beautiful yarns, in a variety of fibres to keep you cool this summer.
Sandnes Garn Line (53% cotton/ 33% viscose/ 14% linen)
Line is named for its linen content. The addition of linen to the cotton and viscose base makes this extra cool, and the combination of fibres creates a unique finish, with viscose having a slight sheen while linen is very matte.
Line is a dk weight yarn with 20 stitches to 10cm on 4mm needles making it perfect for lightweight cardigans and jumpers.
Sandnes Garn Tynn Line (53% cotton/ 33% viscose/ 14% linen)
Tynn Line is Line's little sister, it retains all of the same properties, but is a fingering weight yarn working up to 27 stitches per 10cm on 3mm needles. This makes it perfect for singlets and dresses. It also comes in a broader colour pallate.
Sandnes Garn Duo (55% Merino/ 45% cotton)
Another dk weight yarn, Duo's gauge is 20 stitches per 10cm on 4mm needles.
Duo is another cotton blend, but it is mixed with merino. The addition of Merino gives it a little more elasticity, and Merino is well known for its breathability.
Rauma Garn Petunia (100% cotton)
Another dk weight yarn Petunia is 100% pima cotton. The final garment is extremely soft, and this yarn can be used to crochet too.
